User friendly, but poor maps
Review by
Red Hounds
I purchased 2 Alpha 200i units.
Good: easier to deal with conflicting collars, more user friendly interface
Bad: roads don't show up until you do updates. After the first round of updates, roads show but many large atv trails (which show on Alpha 100's, 320s etc) don't show up. Map has roads show in white. This makes maps harder for me to read unless backlight is cranked to the max (which eats your battery up).
The cool feature of in reach is pretty spendy. $13/month per unit.
Were I doing it again, I would stick with the Alpha 100's I already have. My wife would buy the new one again. So, it depends on your preferences. She is pretty technology savy. Big thing I didn't like was the maps.
